Welcome to my blog; here are a few things you need to know
I am a disciple of Christ, husband of one, father of three, and pastor of many. I love to follow Jesus, even when it is uncomfortable and not the coolest and trendy thing to do. ultimately every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord; i just choose to do it now. I like chocolate ice cream with almonds. bbq. coffee. wireless internet. my Ipod. hangin out with people who are real even if they are not followers of Christ. I believe God is the author and finisher of life, and I cant wait until He is done writing mine.

aahhhh Panama...
was incredible! lots of fun in the sun. we spent plenty of time on the beach relaxing and enjoying our family time together. Dee got cooked the first day there so we were limited time in the sun from there! Dev and Dray had fun playing in the Gulf and the swimming pools at the condo we stayed at thanks to Michael Austin(thanks again buddy). you guys def need to stay at a new development called the Towne of Seahaven over in Panama City Beach once it is done. it is going to be a wonderful resort community with all kinds of amenities to keep the family entertained. so start planning and get to enjoying! Dee and I are glad to be back in town and get back to life, family, and church. we are really excited about being out at Middleburg and look forward to building relationships out there. well glad to be back! see you all soon. happy blogging :)

yesterday birfday, today anniversary!!

I know what your thinking guys, smart huh!! i mean, i cant go wrong right? ha, say it aint so!! yes that is correct, I forgot anyways. so what do you do. run out to the store, buy a gift, have it wrapped, and then hide the receipt so she NEVER sees the date it was bought?! noooo... my wife is amazing and she just does not mind that i am just so forgetful sometimes, or alot of times. she is just so merciful and forgiving. i love her and she knows it. she does not worry when i forget things cuz she knows it is due to my lack of brain cells(due to a life of plentiful drug activity some time ago) and not because i dont love her enough. so thank you Dee for being the most amazing wife God could have given me. you are truly loved.
for the rest of you turkeys, get to running and hide those receipts!! God bless you all.

happy birfday to me...

yep, 31 is the new age. i feel good. i feel wiser. i feel like... ok whatever. i feel like i did yesterday, however i did get some cool gifts. my youngest Draya got me a new alarm clock that i was wanting. my son got me a new spatula and grill lighter cuz he likes my grillz skillz. and my oldest and wife got me these sweet tv trays so i can eat and watch tv at the same time. then after i got done doing some work my moms cooked me a del monico steak (thanks mom), potato, and salad. pretty awesome day if i do say so myself.
so my life is pretty sweet right now with some new challenges coming up in ministry, remodeling the house, and just growing with my family. i have faced some difficult times of transition and friendships in the past 6 mos or so. God is really about to do something great with me and i am excited. i look forward to new opps and victories. i also look forward to the failures, because it is there that makes me who i am and who god has called me to be. many great men of God have been put through the test when it comes to Gods kingdom. I think of Joseph as he was tried in egypt, moses leading a bunch of grumblers through the wilderness, king david as he was pursued by enemies, daniel as he walked through the fire, john a forerunner of Jesus as he was imprisoned then beheaded, Peter, Paul, John, and the list goes on through history. Even through all those tough times their life still counted for God.
God, allow my life to count for something. please.

moving on to new challenges...
To all of our students and friends at Celebration Church of Orange Park,
Dee and I wanted to take a few moments and let you know about some exciting changes that are taking place over the next few weeks. Many of you know that we have already been involved, to some extend, at Celebration’s Middleburg Campus. After several months of prayer and consideration, Dee and I feel that as God continues to move us forward in ministry that the next step for us is to focus our attention and energy primarily at the Middleburg Campus. We will be helping in multiple fashions including but not limited to youth, children’s, small groups, discipleship development, team building, and the list goes on!! So as you can tell we will be busy!
For some of you this may seem sudden, but please understand that for about the last 8 months Dee and I have prayed and processed about our calling in God’s kingdom and what He has for us. We have had numerous talks with the leadership here at Celebration including Pastor Stovall, Pastor David Branker, and Pastor Wayne about this stirring in our hearts. We have all taken the time to seek what would be best for not only God’s house, but also for Dee and myself. We feel a complete and total peace about moving on to the new challenges and opportunities that God has prepared in advance for us! We are extremely excited about this move and will be waiting to see the great things that God is going to do in Middleburg and beyond.
All of this obviously means that we will no longer be directly involved with the youth ministry at the Orange Park Campus. However, let me take this opportunity to say that Dee and I cannot express enough how much we have enjoyed serving and ministering the gospel to you guys over the last 4 years!! WOW! Has it been 4 already?? We have had a great time getting to know and love you all, and that will not cease. You have truly blessed our lives in a way that words just cannot express. So thank you for all that you have meant, and been to us! You are loved!
Our hearts through all of this is that God’s kingdom will be our primary concern, and the people we have served will see this as a positive move for the glory of God! So be looking for us from time to time to drop back in and say hi as we are continuing to help our Lead Pastor’s Stovall and Kerri advance God’s kingdom!
God bless you all,
Todd n Dee
