I am a disciple of Christ, husband of one, father of three, and pastor of many. I love to follow Jesus, even when it is uncomfortable and not the coolest and trendy thing to do. ultimately every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus is Lord; i just choose to do it now. I like chocolate ice cream with almonds. bbq. coffee. wireless internet. my Ipod. hangin out with people who are real even if they are not followers of Christ. I believe God is the author and finisher of life, and I cant wait until He is done writing mine.
did a sweet story on Celebration Church at the 10pm news cast last night that was truly amazing. God is into changin trends on this earth. It is not often you find favorable reporting on the church in the media, but Tom Wills did an amazing job reporting on the great things God is doing through Celebration Church. truly amazing! Not only was it great reporting on the church but then Tom Wills encouraged people to check out the vid from one of Pastors messages on the channel 4 website. sweet. I would encourage you to take a look for yourself. it was a great story. God was glorified truly, thank you Jesus!
cannot express how much i appreciate the wonderful life God has blessed me with. i have breakfast with a friend every(almost) thursday morning, and we discuss our lives, family, struggles, victories, and so much more. i am so grateful God has placed such a high value of relationships in my heart. starting with my realtionship with Jesus. I love the fact that we have such a wonderful and relational God. then the wife and children He has blessed me with. my mom which is still just so active and a blessing in my life. thank you mom. and yes i am still a mamas boy at 31 years old! then friends that i can just be myself with. dont have to be super pastor or perfect. can just be myself just as i am with Jesus, messed up!! i tell you i do not want to ever lose sight of the favor God has put on my life. it is good, just like every other gift from Jesus. I hope and pray that you too may understand just how great a God that i serve. God Bless!

well we have put in some work this week but have topped it off with a sweet day that we have had planned for a couple of weeks. Dee and I took the kids out to the adventure island waterpark for some fun in the sun. we enjoyed the waterslides, wavepool, and the blessed of the Holy Ghost lazy river! Dee and i love the lazy river. it is so relaxing, and the kids enjoy it too. got a great tan going on so i am pumped about that. Dee got her normal red color! which will go away in about two days and she will look like casper:) kids enjoyed the park, food, and the family time. thank you Jesus! we have had a splended week. we will be looking forward to our sunday services and all the great people God has blessed our church with. love you all. well got to go get ready to take my beautiful bride out for a bit. so see you later. and i'm not talking about macdonalds. my weekend was tremendous. we began on friday night with a date with my beautiful bride Dee. we started by going and returning our phones(i know romantic huh!) that we had just bought, the T-mobile dash. the technology was advanced but not very user friendly. definitely some work to do on those phones T-mobile, maybe next time. so we traded them for the blackberry pearls, which are a slender more trendy looking blackberry with the same technology and more than the "home pc" versions that most have. then it was off to Moes, one of our favorite places to grub down. then we went browsing stores which is another favorite passtime of ours. then we went home. saturday was taking care of the house early, then i watched a movie with my hunnie. and yes, it was a chick flick :( i mean, no one got beat up, blown up, or eaten by an Alien!?! i mean what is the point right? so anywho, i then watched some of the pepsi 400 on my HDTV and home theatre system, definitely made all those left turns much more interesting. sunday started with some great services at the M-burg. we added about 12-15 people to our serve teams which provided some great excitement for our leaders. then it was off to lunch with all the sound guys, lots of laughs, and good food at Big Dawgs. their wings are great for all you chicken lovers. Dee was the only female, but hung in strong when one of the guys cracked a joke about womens sports and the WNBA. she simply stated anymore comments like that and there would be some WWF in the restraunt! hahahaahha she has definitely been married to me! fun times. well lots of relational meetings with our great leaders and congregation members planned for this week. meetings at the D-dub, and more opportunity to bless our community. love you all, God Bless!
we started by rising early (by my standards anyway) to go and participate in the annual 4th parade out in Middleburg. now i gotta say i was wondering just how many people come out to this specific parade. i mean, just how big can it be? to my suprise there were i would say 2000 people out! they were lined up all down the street and were enjoying themselves bigtime! so we were out to just get out there, and let everyone know we are in the area. we had a float all decorated, and thanks to my sister we had a great giveaway... FRISBEES!! ha, i mean the kids and even adults were going nuts over these things. FRISBEES! i mean something so simple. something i never have really liked because i have always stunk at throwing them! but FRISBEES! they enjoyed them and we enjoyed the reactions of the people! very fun. then we transformed our day by heading to lunch with some friends and then going with them to check out the new movie TRANSFORMERS. very cool flick. great story and special effects. lots of humor also. i will be buying the dvd when it comes out for sure. then we came home and ate dinner, shot off some fireworks, and just enjoyed the family! what a day! hope yours was just as exciting! love you all, God bless.
my life has just been so richly blessed by God. I think back to my pre-Christ days and just dont know how i lived my life the way i did. jail, drugs, alcohol, girl after girl, anger, strife in my relationships, pride(still dealing with this :) ), HELL!!, and everything else that comes with living without the God of the universe directing my paths! I love God. I love life.
So today was cool, got alot done around the house, hung out with my son some, cooked some bbq chicken on the grill(holla if ya hear me), and chasing my wife around the house(never caught her, she is getting fast!). so i am about to eat my dessert my little girl Dray is making in her Easy Bake oven! so gotta go. love you all
